Church History

Bishop Jerome L. Bostic is the Founder & Senior Pastor of Life Changers Church Inc., Columbus Ohio. He is native-born in Columbus; born on August 29th, 1961. He is one of seven children. He attended the Columbus City Schools, graduating from Marion Franklin High School and attended Central State University in Xenia Ohio and Columbus State Community College. He obtained employment and was a faithful and hardworking employee of the Techniglass Television Production Corporation for nineteen years before retiring. He currently holds a Head position for the Columbus City Schools custodial services.

Bishop Bostic is a family man and has been married to his high school sweetheart, Linda. She works beside him as the Assistant Pastor, Christian Education Superintendent, Food Pantry Director and any other service she can provide to serve God’s people. She is an author, with her first book release in 2013 entitled “Kingdom Thinking; adopting a mentality of royalty”. She is approaching her 24th year as a teacher for the Columbus City Schools. In addition to this union God has blessed them with two sons, Joshua (Francesca) and Caleb, and two grandsons; Jovanni and Jacarri

It was on April 5th, 1986, Bishop Bostic accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was filled with the Holy Ghost. In 1991, he became an Ordained Minister through the Apostolic Assemblies of Christ and attended the Karl F. Smith Bible Institute. During that time, God promoted him to Elder, and later became Associate Pastor to Dr. Nathaniel Jordan of the Apostolic Faith Temple where he served faithfully for ten years and became the National Director of Evangelism of the Apostolic Assemblies of Christ Youth Department. He has also served as the Ohio District Chairman for the World Assemblies of Restoration, where he was promoted to Overseer.

May of 1996, the Lord moved upon him to “cross the line” and start his own Pastorate. With confirmation and great respect from his mentor and pastor of ten years, Dr. Nathaniel Daniel Jordan gave him and his wife Linda his blessing. With these words Bishop Jordan said, “Be strong, be courageous, trust always in the Lord and you’ll do fine”.

On July 6th, 1996 the Church was born. The first service was held at the Techniglass Union Hall, 1171 Gilbert Street Columbus, Ohio.

After the first successful year on Gilbert Street, God blessed the Church to move to 1730 Lockbourne Road, where he served faithfully for seven years. The Church then moved to 598 Harris Ave. and remained for 61/2 years before returning to 1730 Lockbourne Road, with a new Name and fresh anointing “LIFE CHANGERS CHURCH; Where We Preach the Kingdom and Change Lives!”

On January 26, 2020 he was consecrated to the office of Bishop at the Apostolic Faith Temple 1634 East Main Street Col, OH. Where Bishop Dr. Nathaniel D. Jordan Sr. was the Chief Consecrator.
